I was honored to be asked to serve as Master of Ceremonies on January 19th at the 2006 CCRC Gubernatorial Candidates Forum and Lincoln Day Dinner in beautiful State College, PA.
Six candidates for Pennsylvania governor—including NFL hall-of-famer Lynn Swann, as well as two U.S. Congressmen, one U.S. Senator and Club for Growth President Pat Toomey spoke. (Talk about herding cats.) The event was televised live statewide on the PCN cable network.
Surprisingly, the advance people for only two of these candidates provided us with bios and other information for use in introductory remarks, event programs, etc.
